Foster is an Experiential Production & Creative Agency based in Austin, Texas. Our work is two-fold: producing impactful activations for brands while also crafting a series of thoughtful, community-centric pop-ups for the city that we call home. At our core, we are designers, experience-curators, storytellers, music aficionados and food enthusiasts. We operate by way of creative inspiration, candid thinking, nostalgic playfulness and collaborative strategy.
To put it simply, we wanted to build an agency that embraced the challenge of being creatively daring. The world is as cluttered as ever these days, and we are here to break through that. At our core, we want to make brands feel alive. Through culture, experimentation, and storytelling we are here to give brands a pulse. To make them feel honest, authentic, and human through intentional work that spans across a holistic brand experience. Foster works with clients who are passionate about making people feel something. SHELBY GOODWIN
Co-Founder, Executive Producer
The Soul — Shelby believes in the deepness and the intricate details of bringing people together. She believes the best experiences are the ones that begin with a clear intention and a welcoming space. Walking into her home, you will find a scene that is overflowing with candles, records and treasures from her travels. Her desire is to make you feel welcomed, inspired and to invoke a sense of curiosity and discovery. She brings the same philosophy and meaning to any event or experience she produces. Her favorite Foster memory is from way back when - when we were hosting concerts in our living room. Everyone packed into the room, holding on to every word from an up and coming star. It's in those moments where you come alive in the magic of the moment.
SARA BARGE
Co-Founder, Creative Director
The Eye — Sara has been obsessed with the little details for as long as she can remember. As a natural born artist, Sara has been drawing + painting for most years of her life – evolving into graphic design and styling that sets the experience apart. She believes deeply that your surroundings are more than just a place – that they create a sense of being and belonging. Each event has a purpose, often found hiding in the smaller details that come together to create the memory you hold once you leave – this is what Sara fixates on. She believes deeply in love letters and snail mail. She will pick out all the good bits in trail mix (but she apologizes for it each time). Sara is the one you want to be with when you go to Round Top - trust us. When she is around, treasures abound.
STEPHANIE GUTIERREZ
Co-Founder, Executive Producer
The Heart — Stephanie is an innate host with a deep passion for connecting people. Whether it stems from growing up in a large family or through years of working in the hospitality industry — creating an intentional space for people to come together has always been her north star. She has a sweet spot for Foster pop-up dinners and her favorite memories are witnessing the magic that unfolds at a dinner table filled with strangers. You'll likely find her with her film camera slung around her neck, laying on a picnic blanket with a journal or fully immersed in a good book. She is the one you text when you want to know what new restaurant you need to check out or what cocktail to order from the menu. Oh, and she is always down to host a dinner party.
